Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in a wonderful game for early level gamblers.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the casino is given seven cards faces hidden.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
