Online poker has become world famous recently, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or other types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier declares "No further bets." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course all of the other players are given five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original ante, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your bet goes instantaneously to the casino. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with an amount on par with the original wager. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The bank pays cash even with your wager and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
