I used to usually win, whatever game we were playing and although I liked to call it skill, it was very tough to warrant considering the randomness of the games we were betting, so I was over joyed to accept I was having a prolonged run of good fortune.
Then came Poker, or far more importantly Holdem Poker, made popular by a bunch of Texas card gamblers in the 60’s and since grown into one of the biggest card phenomena ever observed. Poker is absolutely the new black, it is uber awesome with numerous of the world’s top superstars racing to have their name associated with it. Just a quick flick through the TV channels these days and you are able to not escape from poker, and certainly there’s the fabled World Series of Poker, the Holy Grail and Mecca all combined into one for every individual player.
